Machu Picchu:
Route of the Inca by motorcycle

From Cusco you will visit the Maras salt mines and the Moray archeological site , the Ollantaytambo Ruins via Abra de Lares (4,461 masl).
It will be reached by motorcycle to the Hydroelectric after the Abra Málaga of (4,230 masl) and we will walk 12 km through a unique Andean ecosystem such as the Inca Trail to Aguas Calientes , the base to go up to Machu Picchu.
We will cross coffee, coca and cocoa plantations to the edge of the Territorial Reserve Kugapakori , to make the jungle on motorcycle .
They will follow the Pisac Ruins through the Open Amparaes (4,568 masl) to return to Cusco.
The entire journey will travel 1,100 km along the footprints of the Inca Empire in the Sacred Valley.

Day 1: Arrival in flight to Cusco

Cusco arrival. Break. Before dinner technical trip meeting , a talk about driving in Peru and the travel program.

Day 2: Maras and Moray from Cusco (120 km)

120 km motorcycle tour from Cusco to visit Chinchero , the Salineras de Maras and the archaeological site of Moray. .


Day 3: Cusco - Ollantaytambo (160 km)

Departure to Pisac through the Sacred Valley through Calca and visit the hot springs in Lares via Abra Lares (4,461 masl) . Continue on high mountain roads to Ollantaytambo to visit its archaeological site, a Patacancha community and the Temple of the Sun at sunset.

Day 4: Ollantaytambo - Hydroelectric (160 km)

We left early to climb the Open Malaga (4,230 masl) with great landscapes of high mountains. We went down to Santa María for a lush tropical paradise . From there we follow the course of the Vilcanota River towards the Hydroelectric through a beautiful valley towards the hill of Machu Picchu . In the Hydroelectric we leave the motorcycles and we walk (12 km) towards Aguas Calientes.


Day 5: Machu Picchu Climb

Early in the morning we went up with a guide to Machu Picchu.

Afternoon free to take a bath & # 241o in Aguas Calientes

Day 6: Hydroelectric - Coffee Plantation (160 km)

We leave Aguas Calientes on the train to the Hydroelectric to take the motorcycles and go north towards Quillabamba . After lunch we continue to our destination in Kiteni, a coffee plantation in the jungle.

Day 7: Caf Plantation & # 233 (100 km)

120 km motorcycle tour through the jungle near the Urubamba River.

In the afternoon, walk through the coffee plantation to get to know the area and the neighbors.

Day 8: Caf Plantation & # 233 - Calca (250 km)

We leave early to return to the Sacred Valley via the Open Amparaes (4,568 masl) with tropical landscapes and then reach the high mountain.


Día 9: Calca - Cusco (60 km)

We leave through the Sacred Valley towards Pisac to visit its archaeological site.

Then continue to Cusco to say goodbye to motorcycles upon arrival.

Day 10: Cusco - Departure

Free day in Cusco to enjoy the capital of the Inca empire.
